Can we leave the site and return?
Yes, the event is wristbanded so you will be able to come and go as you please.
Are the stages big enough to accommodate everyone?
The capacity for each stage is different and once filled to maximum each will be run on a ‘one out, one in’ system. We cannot guaranteed access to every performance so make sure you get to stages in plenty of time to watch the bands you want to see. There are 4 stages with a good variety of bands to go and watch!
How far apart are the stages?
The main stage and the Big Deal Clothing stage, are located within the SU building. The Guitar Central and Southampton Music stages are located within short walking distance across a small courtyard.
Are there places to eat and drink on site?
Yes, the uni has several cafe areas and bars that will be open all day. You will need proof of ID to purchase alcohol.
What will be there for me to spend my well earned moolah on?
We have a lovely market area that will be jammed full of clothing company stalls and band merchandising. Big Deal Clothing will be setting up shop right next to the Big Deal Stage (located in the Staggs Head Bar in the SU)
Can I bring my camera to the event?
Small digital cameras are fine, although we wouldn’t recommend bringing expensive equipment in case it gets broken. DSLR’s and cameras with removable lenses will not be allowed into the site without a press/photo pass.
